Our home furnishing line is a collaboration between Alabama Chanin and artist Butch Anthony.

Made from objects found all over the southeastern United States, this collection is our first foray into what we like to call Alabama Studio Style. Each piece is a hand-made, artisan creation from another time that we’ve repurposed for today. Farm chairs have been rebuilt with cushions woven from cotton jersey and in some cases old ties. Chandeliers made with old lighting fixtures are designed to be lit with candles. They are decorated with cow bones and sticks retrieved from river beds, where beavers carved them to exacting sizes.

Quilts, old constructions that were once considered unsalvageable, provide us with a new palette and an opportunity to refashion them with embroidery and appliqués in our signature techniques.  Contact us for more information.
