Making Pictures: Three for a Dime
Arkansas-based artist Maxine Payne authors Making Pictures: Three for a Dime, with a foreword by Phillip March Jones. The book brings new life to the collection of photos made by the Massengill family in Arkansas during the Great Depression. Making Pictures, co-published by our friends at Dust-to-Digital and Institute 193, showcases the photos, some strange and others haunting, that serve as the inspiration for our current collection.
